Choose Export All or a Start Date from which you want to export.
Choose the data format (XMLor Tab Delimited Text).Note: Tab Delimited Text can be read in by Excel and other spreadsheet software.
Press the Export... button and specify a name for the file.
I've loaded a copy of the XML format file, and the Tab Delimited Text file to this wiki.
Update September 17, 2012: I started using version 12.0.2.25 of the Dexcom studio software. I've exported more data in case the data formats have changed: newer Tab Delimited Text file; newer XML format file.

When building a new information system, the supported data values are really building blocks. They support the system itself, and they determine what the system is capable of doing.
needed in the system. ~~Because~~Each data item will always have a time part, indicating when it happened and, for some items, a duration. The duration will be useful for exercise; some medications; and sickness, among others.
Because I'm focused on the
Blood glucose readings.
Insulin taken.
Medications taken: type, dosage, time.
Carbohydrates consumed (also protein, fat, fiber)

Added two more categories for Medications and Events. Most people with any form of diabetes are taking a number of medications besides insulin (Symlin, cholesterol meds, depression meds, vitamins, etc.) so we need to provide a means to track the medicine type, dosage and time taken. Events are more structured than Comments, as well as a time component they may have a scale component.

HITSP (Health Interchange Technology Standards Panel). Free specification. I heard about this during a really interesting talk on the unintended consequences of healthcare IT. It's worth listening to.
Also, SmartHealth and Indivo.

http://indivohealth.org/research- They have RDF/python implementations for a full stack, although PHR codings are proprietary.
It'd be great to have compatible codes that were "open."
